Evy is a dog that is clearly interested in undertaking several activities. This has to be something in which the owner actively participates as well. She does not appreciate it when you’re just standing on the sidelines giving her commands. When this happens she will decide she has better things to do, such as digging holes in the ground. She needs activity and challenge. Whenever she can do something, she wants to continue working on it.

It’s not a dog that will be satisfied with performing the same trick over and over again, after about three times she will decide she knows it by now. When Evy decides to go for something, she can perform in it in top-class. She is motivated, intelligent and pretty fast for a Golden Retriever. She’s great at problem solving and understands body language and instructions from the owner quickly. Because of this it doesn’t take her very long to understand how a new sport works, and because of this needs a change of pace often, so that she won’t get bored.
